Modeled with acute attention to detail and perfect conformation, in the bottom "SS Allach" in green underglaze, impressed signature "T. Kärner" and model number "68". The more than 40 centimetre high peacock, which the sculptor Theodor Kärner already created at the age of 21, today counts as one of the most familiar and outstanding animal figures produced by Porzellan Manufaktur Nymphenburg.
